Service Manager is a new feature in the works at RCC. This is a powerful tool that will allow users to create, maintain, and delete service work orders all from one screen. A major benefit is giving transparency to Service Managers so they can see what is outstanding and has not been assigned to personnel.
There are two main views that will help with assignments of work orders, list view and calendar view:
List View: When using the list view, you will see a list of service work orders grouped by personnel and ones that haven’t been assigned. This list is fully searchable and filterable. Filters include date range, service code, run code, and route. You can drag a work order to assign it to a specific personnel. Drag and drop is enabled on both views.
Calendar View: The calendar view has flexible display modes that let you choose from viewing a day, week, work week, month, and more. You can choose to group the service work orders by separate personnel columns or choose to display them all on a shared calendar. The drag and drop features in the calendar include dragging a work order to assign it to personnel, drag an already scheduled work order to a new time slot, or adjust the length and time of a service work order by resizing it.
